Microsoft Office 365 for Students, Teachers and Staff

Students 13 years-old of age or older:

  1. Go to www.office.com/getOffice365
  2. Click Get Started
  3. Enter your District Google email address.
  4. Check your email to complete the Office 365 Education sign-up.

In order to be eligible for this benefit, the student must attend an AVUHSD school and have an active District Google account.

For students, Office 365 does not replace your Google Apps account or services. An Office 365 email account is not included in this service. Signing up is easy and only takes a few minutes.

For Staff and Teachers:

  1. Go to www.office.com/getOffice365
  2. Click Get Started
  3. Enter your District email address.
  4. Check your District email to complete the Office 365 Education sign-up.

In order to be eligible for this benefit, staff and teachers must be an active employee of the District.

Office 365 License Features:

  • Office Online - Microsoft only allows access to Office 365 Online now, they no longer allow installation of the Office software on your computer(s).
